In the first 30 lap main event, Bowers stated in his qualifying position, off pole, next to the division's points leader, Garrett Peterson. Peterson had a great run on the start to grab the early lead as Bowers would tuck in behind him. Minor racing action occurred for Bowers as he ran consistent in second all the way to the checkered flag collecting his fifth second place finish this season.

A full invert was picked for the division in the second main placing Bowers second to last on the grid. In the opening laps, Bowers ran down the third place battle passing teammates Molly Helmuth and Spencer Hill for third. By lap 18, Bowers and Edwards battled hard for second as the duo collided and both fell back in the field handing second over to Hill and third to Helmuth. In the closing laps, Bowers worked his way back up to third.

With two solid top three finishes moved Bowers into second place in the championship points with one race day remaining for the series.

" We seemed to find a different setup this weekend that fit my driving style more, as we ran the fastest we have all year. We had a solid second place finish in the first feature and in the second feature we got caught up in a wreck but we still fought back to a 3rd place finish which I am proud of. Thank you to my sponsors, supporters as well as to JR and Bo and all of the RSWC crew," stated Ricky Bowers.
